Have you ever wondered how the Queen feels in her carriage? It is not just what you see, but the pace of it, the sound of horses trotting along, the rhythmic clip-clop of their hooves.
Join me on this experience and we’ll follow the ceremonial route covered by Kings and Queen for nearly 1000 years in an exact replica of the Queen’s carriage. She follows it every year for the State Opening of Parliament and William and Kate chose it for their wedding route.
We'll discover royal secrets and political intrigues and share delightful anecdotes, like aristocrats in our own 'Grand Tour'. You might say the history of Britain is contained in this route!
Starting in aristocratic St James, we'll trot across St James Park, past Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, 10 Downing St, Churchill's War Rooms, Big Ben, take in a scenic view of the River Thames and several royal residences, including two royal palaces and Prince Charles's London home where William and Harry grew up. We end at the Queen's home, Buckingham Palace - where else?
So dust off your tiara and start practicing your royal wave! I can also accommodate larger groups using more carriages.
