I've been visiting London since I was a boy, but I still remember the thrill of the first time I arrived. A day in London meant a day full of surprises, where something fascinating, beautiful or inspiring could be around the next corner. I always knew I would come and live here, and now I have been in the city for over 25 years. And I still find surprising and new things. My real pleasure is to show people London's special places and share the inspiring stories from people who have lived here, whether long ago or today.

The experience

Fighting is not clever - but people always seem to have done it. This 1-hour experience of the British Museum focuses on arms and armour in the collection from the stone age onwards. It will look at the various things people have used to bash people on the head with from different cultures around the world. You'll see a spear made from a narwhal's tusk tipped with a meteorite, clubs with faces, helmets with moustaches and armour made out of a crocodile.

This experience is suitable for age 8+.
